September Mom of the Month Kristina Giaritelli

Meet September Mom of the Month Kristina Giaritelli, mom to Arabella and new member of the FIT4MOM Tampa Bay Team instructor family. After a few minutes watching Kristina interact with the Stroller Strides babies after class and you will see why she makes a great fit to our team. Get to know Kristina a little more by reading 10 fun facts about her below, like did you now that despite being a native Floridian she is a die hard Colts fan? Or that she shares a love of burpees with her fiancée? Look forward to seeing her leading Countryside and Citrus Park classes soon!

  • I was born in Miami, Florida-We moved shortly after Hurricane Andrew hit. And no, we did not evacuate. My mom, dad, grandmother, my dog and myself were huddled in a closet for the entirety of it. Half our roof was missing and parts of a boat were in our pool!
  • When I was a kid, my dream was to start the WNFL…needless to say it didn’t quite work out.
  • Reality TV shows are my guilty pleasure. Sometimes you need a good dose of Real Housewives to make your life feel a little bit saner :)
  • I’ve been to a Super Bowl. My family and I are die-hard Indianapolis Colts fans, and we were able to go see them play the Saints in Super Bowl 44. Even though the outcome wasn’t what we were hoping for, the experience was unbelievable and unforgettable.
  • I have a slight obsession with Yankee candle. Each room in our house has one at all times, with backups on hand! Some may say I go a little overboard when the BOGO large candle coupons come out every once in a while.
  • I have an EXTREME phobia of blood and needles. I will go as far as to say that the worst part of being pregnant was getting my blood drawn.
  • I’m also deathly afraid of flying. We flew with our daughter when she was 9 months old. One of us cried. (Hint: It wasn’t the baby)
  • I met my (soon to be) hubby at the gym he was a trainer at. I caught his attention by doing burpees in between my strength training sets...the rest is history.
  • We also only knew each other for a month when we found out about our little one. It’s an understatement to say we are extremely blessed that things have worked out in the way they have!
  • Arabella (our daughter’s name) was the one and only name we picked from Day 1, so we were pretty ecstatic when we found out we were having a girl!
