Our hearts are heavy for the communities affected by the devastating wildfires in Maui, including our very own FIT4MOM Maui Village.

When moms come together, they can do anything—the strength in motherhood is unstoppable. We are Moms With A Mission, so let’s wrap our arms around our FIT4MOM sisters, their children, families, businesses, and everyone in the entire community who is currently facing the unimaginable aftermath of this tragic event.

If you’re able to support these communities who need it most during this time of uncertainty, below are verified resources to aid in the relief efforts including efforts organized by our local FIT4MOM Maui Village:

• FIT4MOM Maui is collecting donations to purchase needed supplies for all of the displaced families on the island and will be donating funds to local relief organizations in the area. To support this effort, visit gofund.me/3cee7f79
• Red Cross has set up shelters and resources for both those who have been affected by this disaster and those who want to support them. To help you can text the word REDCROSS to 90999 to make a $10 donation or visit redcross.org/local/hawaii
• The Hawai'i Community Foundation started a Maui Strong Fund to support local nonprofits that are providing food, shelter, and financial assistance to those affected by the wildfires: hawaiicommunityfoundation.org/maui-strong
• The Maui Food Bank has set up donation collection and distribution sites and has a disaster response volunteer program those in person can sign up to help: mauifoodbank.org
• The Salvation Army's Kahului Corps is providing thousands of meals at Maui County and American Red Cross emergency shelters. You make donations to help continue these efforts: hawaii.salvationarmy.org
• The Maui Humane Society is looking for pet food donations and people who can foster dogs to make room for the influx of animals who will need special treatment due to smoke inhalation and burns: mauihumanesociety.org
